FAQ'S

What is your covid protocol

Covid-19 Massage Safety &   Protocols
We are closely following all updates and mandates as they arise. Your health & safety are of paramount importance to us.
  • A pre & post sanitation protocol is followed with the utmost diligence
  • It is asked that you contact your therapist if you have any symptoms of illness, or if you have been exposed to someone who is ill. You will not be charged for your session.
We thank you for your understanding during these times. Together we can overcome anything!

What are the benefits of receiving  massage?

There are many health benefits to massage! Including but not limited to,

  • increased relaxation

  • decreased pain

  • better circulation

  • increase range of motion

  • better or more easeful sleep and mood improvements

What type of massage should I book?

Integrated massage is always a popular and easy choice. In this type of session we will utilize many types of techniques and can integrate specialties such as reiki, craniosacral or cupping. Together we will figure out what meets your personal needs in each session.

What time should I arrive for my session?

If you are a new client and have not filled out an intake form online, please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment start time (the time you booked for). If you are a returning client, 5 minutes prior to your start time is perfect.

Does massage need to be painful to be effective?

Massage should not be painful. A lighter pressure and slower movements typically means the soft tissue can release quicker than if the therapist uses a firmer approach from the start. There is often a feeling of "hurts in a good way" but that should not turn into being painful. If it does please speak up and we will adjust pressure and technique. The most benefit comes from working with your body verses against it.
